Dear Member-exporters,     All of you  may be aware that ‘Swach Bharat Mission’ is one of the flagship campaign of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modiji, wherein all Ministries  and the organisations coming under it  have to participate in promoting Swatchata activities throughout the year.  As part of the same, it has been decided to organise Swachhata Pakwada.     In order to  boost and intensify this campaign, as per the directive of the  Ministry, we are happy to inform you all that CHEMEXCIL has decided to undertake the following activities along with all of you and the employees of  CHEMEXCIL during Swachhata Pakwada which shall be celebrated from 1.11.2018 to 15.11.2018:-     Mass ‘Swachhta Pledge’ shall be administered to all.   The Chairman of the Council  will   address to all  member-exporters  as well as employees of CHEMEXCIL  to follow Swachhata Pakhwada with a resolution to keep India Clean & Green.   “Shramdan “ as a mass Cleanliness drive  will be undertaken by all of us to clean  our Offices.   All of us have to take initiative to make aware of segregation of recyclable wastes.   In addition to undertaking Mass Garbage Removal Drive,  all of us have to take initiative to properly disposing of  waste material as well as house keeping.   All of you have to take initiative to  minimise use of non-degradable substances like plastics,  which can be replaced by biodegradable materials.   All of you have to  take initiative  to  make clean  toilets of your Offices and  factories.   All of you have to  put efforts on the on the campaign of tree plantation, restoration of water bodies, e-waste management, sanitation awareness, keeping  iconic places clean, etc. CHEMEXCIL will  also simultaneously put  its efforts for the same.   We  appeal to all of you to  promote Green & Clean Belt near your  factories, Rain water Harvesting, etc.   Finally, we would like to inform you all that the Council shall use social media (  i.e. through Emails, Web uploads, Twitter, etc.  as the means of Networking with all of you .  Thereafter,  it is our earnest request  to you to  send us  your feedback of  activities undertaken along with photographs so as to enable us to inform the same to the Ministry.   In view of the importance of the above,  we solicit your your  co-operation  and assistance to make Swachhata Pakhwada a grand success.   Thanking you, Yours faithfully,     (S.G.
