ECO PASSPORT is a pioneer in "Green Chemistry" since it covers a comprehensive approach to chemical management and both brands & manufacturers value the ECO PASSPORT as credible proof of sustainable textile and leather production.
The ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® identifies environmentally friendly chemicals, auxiliaries and colorants used in the textile and leather industry by analyzing whether each individual ingredient in the chemical product meets the statutory requirements so that it is not harmful to human health.
By acquiring independent certification, Dyestuffs & intermediates manufacturers can demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and build trust in their products as compared to co-producers.
In order to know more about this certification, the Council is organizing a webinar on “ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® - INPUT CHEMISTRY AND CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT”in association with M/s Hohenstein India Pvt. Ltd., appointed by OEKO-TEX® as the official testing & certification institute, both at India and Sri Lanka. They are the subsidiary of Hohenstein Institute, Germany and are into testing and certification since 1946.
