We are pleased to inform you that CHEMEXCIL in association with GPC Group is organizing Webinar on “Key principles and features of India’s cosmetic regulations”.
Cosmetics market in India is growing at a rapid pace. The demand for cosmetics products has been growing, particularly in urban centers owing to several factors such as greater purchasing power because of higher incomes, increasing influence of western culture, desire to look better and more attractive etc. A cosmetic is also a sector that needs to be strictly regulated.
Indian Cosmetic products are regulated under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 and Rules 1945 and Labeling Declarations by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The main objective of the Drug Act is to ensure that the drugs and cosmetics sold in India are safe, effective, and conform to prescribed quality standards. Even though the act came into force in 1940, it has been amended many times. The latest amendment was made in 2019.
In order to create more awareness on this subject, Chemexcil is organizing a webinar on “Key principles and features of India’s cosmetic regulations” as per below schedule.
