We are glad to inform you that Chemexcil is organizing a Buyer Seller Meet (BSMs) in Myanmar and Malaysia under the MAI scheme of the Dept. of Commerce and Industry (MAI approval awaited) . This buyer-seller meet will be supported by respective Indian Embassy and Mission in these Countries.
During this event, Indian Chemical exporters can interact and strengthen their relationships with the buyers in Myanmar & Malaysia.
This Buyer Seller meet is under consideration with The Ministry of Commerce & Industry under Market Access Initiative for 25-Indian Companies. Final approval is awaited from the department.

Note:
1. It is mandatory to participate in both (Two) Buyer Seller Meets.
2. Dates of the event are currently under discussion with the Indian Missions.
3. Participation charges mentioned are non-refundable.
4. Translator Services (if required) will be provided on a chargeable basis.
Venue: Venue for BSM would be communicated as soon as council finishes negotiations.
Participation Guidelines:
· The event is proposed to be covered under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) scheme of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India for the year 2024-2025 and final approval for the event is yet to be received.
· Company with export turnover “NIL” is not entitled to get any MAI grant.
· MAI grant in terms of Airfare will be available only to eligible 25 no. of exhibitors on a first come (Payment) first served (Allocation) basis.
· As per the MAI guidelines of the Ministry, a company which has participated THRICE in a particular Fair/Show will not be eligible for any reimbursement of MAI grant.
· Companies which have participated in three events through CHEMEXCIL in the same financial year (2024-2025) under MAI scheme will not be eligible for MAI grants.
· Members have to pay the membership fee up to the current year (i.e. 2024-25); otherwise, they are not eligible for participation under the MAI scheme.
· Those who would like to participate in this BSM are eligible to get reimbursement of travel expenses by air. (Actual or maximum of up to Rs.90,000/- whichever is less)
· As per the updated guidelines, it is mandatory for the companies to have minimum annual export turnover of INR 50 lacs in the preceding financial year to avail reimbursement of airfare.)
· Reimbursement of airfare to the companies having nil exports/ start-ups/ new exporters may be allowed up to 10% of the total number of participants, subject to the following conditions:
a) The amount of airfare reimbursable will be 50% of the economy fare, subject to market-wise ceilings prescribed in the Scheme guidelines,
b) The exporter has been active in the domestic market and has at least annual turnover of Rs. 50.00 lakh in the preceding financial year.
· Reimbursement of air-fare (is only eligible for economy class) to the exporting companies (Exhibiting Company) with an F.O.B. value of exports below Rs. 50 crores in the preceding financial year.
· Members should have completed 12 months of Membership of council.
· Regularly filing Export returns with the council
· Air fare will be permissible only to the regular Director / Partner/Proprietor or a regular officer of the company on senior managerial position.
· Air fare Claim forms duly filled in and complete in all respects must be submitted to the council within 45 days (counted from last date of the event)
GENERAL
· A company having DEL STATUS (as per DGFT) is not eligible for participation under MAI scheme.
· Once the event is over, participants must submit the outcome report. Format will be provided by Chemexcil on site or on email
· Chemexcil will issue a visa recommendation letter as soon as you complete and submit the payment details. Please send us the scan copy of the passport photograph of the person along with his designation in the attached Excel form who is attending this event. It is mandatory to submit the scan copy of the passport photo.
· In case of inadequate participation, the council will not participate and organize the exhibition. It is requested to consult with the Council before booking your air tickets and hotel accommodation at destination countries.
· The Airfare Reimbursement will be done after finalization of Accounts in Ministry & Subject to receipt of funds from the Govt. of India.
· The Event is being organized on a best-efforts basis. However, all the exhibitors/participants are expected to use their commercial jurisprudence while negotiating prices, payment terms, and delivery terms. CHEMEXCIL cannot guarantee the market credibility and/or financial stability of any buyer attending these meetings.
· In every country, the Council does not guarantee a specific number of meetings.
· The Council does not guarantee any food or other hospitality arrangements during or after the event.
· Members can contact & invite their buyers in those countries for the BSM.
· Company profile and Participation fees must reach in 7-days’ time. Please send your company profile, Application form in attached format to shobha@chemexcil.in; jenny@chemexcil.in; in word format to print the catalogue of CHEMEXCIL participants
