Exim Bank Study on Non-Tariff Measures (NTM) faced by Indian exporters
in their markets abroad

Dear Members,
This has reference to our circular dated 18/10/2018 informing you that the council has received communication from Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) that they are conducting a Study on Non-Tariff Measures (NTM) faced by Indian exporters in their markets abroad as a trade facilitation measure. Unfortunately, we still await responses from the members concerning this important issue.
Kindly note that for conducting this study, EXIM Bank is availing the services of a high level team comprising of a former Commerce Secretary and other eminent experts from the trade and industry and have also contacted the council for consultation.
In this regard, to seek members feed-back and to record their views, EXIM bank has also provided a questionnaire covering points on which information is sought. The same is enclosed herewith for your reference/ feed-back.
You will appreciate that this exercise provides an opportunity to the members to highlight their concerns relating to SPS/TBT measures being undertaken by foreign markets.
Members are once again urged to revert with their feed-back with duly filled questionnaire at the earliest latest by 22/10/2018 on e-mail id’s – ed@chemexcil.gov.in, adreach@chemexcil.gov.in, deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in & rodelhi@chemexcil.gov.in .
