Table 9A amendment for 2017-18 is now available till March 2019

Dear Members,
As you might be aware, taxpayers are allowed to amend the export invoice using table 9A of next un-filed GSTR-1.
Till recently, SEP-2018 was the last GSTR-1 to amend invoices from FY17-18. Subsequently, many exporters were unable to make corrections.
However, taking cognizance of the issues faced by the industry, the GST Council has recently allowed amendment of FY17-18 invoices till MAR-2019 GSTR-1.
We have now received communication from the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) that the System is also now updated and allows drop down option of F.Y 2017-18 for amendment in Table 9A. This facility shall be available till March 2019 GSTR-1.
Members are requested to take note of this relaxation and take benefit of the extended period and submit all the necessary amendments at the earliest.
