Input on Inverted Duty Structure Faced by Industry under India -ASEAN-
Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA)

Dear Sir/Madam,
CHEMEXCIL is in receipt of communication from FT(ASEAN) Division, Department of Commerce, Government of India informing about the ongoing review of the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA). As you are aware this agreement’s aims is to liberalize trade between India and the ten member states of ASEAN.
In view of above members are requested to provide Inverted Duty Structure issues faced by the Industry in trading with ASEAN countries in the attached format on or before 10th April 2024 at pw@chemexcil.in with copy to dg@chemexcil.in for onward communication.
