Ms Shwetha Rao, HSE&S Manager, Akzonobel
|
Ms Shwetha Rao has more than 20 years of experience and is currently working as the HSE&S Manager Painting and Coatings in AkzoNobel, where she manages HSE&S function for 5 manufacturing and 35 standalone warehouses. She is the lead corporate auditor and lead incident investigator for Asia Pacific. She developed HSE&S system in accordance with corporate legal requirements like Process Hazard Analysis, Management of Change, Hazardous Waste Management, Accident Incident Management, Noise Mapping, and situational mock drills. She is an expert in integrated management systems (ISO 14001 OSHAS 180001 and ISO 9001 by methodology development, facilitation at business units and obtain validation certification from authorized body. She strongly believe in robust safety and sustainability programs can create a safety culture and advises top management in HSE&S compliance, safety strategy and safety improvement programs. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law from National Law School and a Diploma in Industrial Safety from Chidambaram University She graduate in Bachelors in Environmental Engineering from Mysore University.
