You may be aware that Chemical companies doing business in/with Korea not only need to comply with K-REACH and Chemicals Control Act (CCA), but also need to comply with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) in Korea.
Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is one part of Korea Occupational Safety and Health Act (KOSHA). KOSHA was revised on August 17th, 2021 and came into effect on August 18th, 2022. Manufacturers (both Korean and non-Korean) and importers dealing with chemical substances in Korea are obligated to submit a standard MSDS to the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) through new MSDS portal.
In order to throw more light on this subject, CHEMEXCIL along with GPC Group is organizing a webinar on “MSDS Regulation Updates and Obligation in South Korea” on 24th November 2022 at 1600 hrs.
