The speaker – Mr John J Hauser is the Principal Engineer at PROSAF Inc and a Fellow at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers At PROSAF. He has successfully helped clients for over 30 years in the field of Emergency Relief System Design, Process Safety and Safety Instrumented Systems.
He has been involved with DiERS since 1986 he currently serves on the DiERS operating committee, served in SuperChems technical evaluation committee and served on the book writing committee for CCPS Guidelines for Pressure Relief and Effluent Handline, Second Edition. He taught the Advanced Course on Emergency Relief System Design hosted by AIChE. He has published 2 papers in fire case ERS design articles Jan 1995 Process Safety Progress, and September 2001 in Journal of Loss Prevention in the Process Industries He earned a BSChE Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 1975 He is registered professional engineer in PA, TX, and IL
